Maserati Spyder 4200GT (Tipo 138), first registered in November 2002, finished in Grigio Alfieri metallic paintwork with a Nero mohair hood. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign and utilising the Ferrari 430 derived F136R V8 4.2 litre engine developing 390 bhp. Front engine, rear wheel drive, 0-60mph - 4.9 seconds, 176 mph, costing over £70K when new.

Electric hood, heated folding door mirrors, one touch windows, heated driver and passenger electric seats with driver seat memory, remote central locking, boot release and Maserati alarm/immobiliser. 18" alloy wheels. High level rear brake light, front fog lights, Maserati stability programme and traction control. Maserati ‘Dual Zone’ climate control/air conditioning, radio/CD, ABS, PAS, multiple SRS Air-Bags, rake/depth adjustable steering wheel. Previous owners have fitted an iPod dock and an Origin b2 GPS/Laser/Radar Warning System.

It also has the 6 speed Cambiocorsa gearbox option - literally ‘gear sport’, a computer controlled electro-hydraulic manual and automatic transmission combination with F1 paddle shift giving four different gear modes: Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip. (Amongst other work undertaken and items renewed, the clutch was replaced in July). All body panels are fully galvanized as is the chassis.

Privately owned, the V5 is in my name and is HPI clear with no accident history.
